   Hoppin' Rabbit Hash

Join us for one of the quirkiest and enjoyable tours of the year. Few towns can boast of having a French Bulldog as their mayor! Rabbit Hash may be small and quirky but it has a lot to see. 

We'll begin our tour with a delicious luncheon of traditional southern cuisine served in elegant dining rooms in a circa-1822 Tousey House.

Next we'll witness first-hand 180 years experienced at The Dinsmore Homestead. This historic property includes the house completed in 1842 and several outbuildings. You'll hear several intriguing stories behind the buildings, the land, the artifacts, and the people. Folksiders is one of our quirky stops. This gift shop is a definite must-see. There are vintage items, gorgeous jewelry, and handmade items that you'll have to have! The Rabbit Hash General Store, one of Kentucky's quirkiest General Stores, will fascinate and implore you to explore its many shelves of wares. 

This trip is for those who love trying new restaurants and those who enjoy experiencing vintage and quirky.

           Riverside Farnsley Moremen Landing

Mike Linnig's Restaurant in Louisville, Ky., has been serving fried fish and seafood since 1925! So come aboard as we head to this Louisville iconic restaurant for a delicious luncheon.
Next stop is Riverside which stands atop a gentle rise overlooking the Ohio River. The centerpiece of this 300 acre farm is the Farnsley- Moremen House. Built in 1837 it served as the center of a large farming operation and a stop for those taking goods down the river. Accompany us on a step back in time as we learn the history of this most unique homestead and find out the secret of the door where Doug is standing.

                Bourbon and Boats

A unique way of discovering the history of 6 different distilleries near the river and seeing the operational Lock and Dam plus Daniel Boone's grave from below, "Frank's Ford" from above, and the Leestown Settlement, all while cruising and enjoying the sights and sound from Blue Herons to Bald Eagles. Maybe you'll even see some river otters or white-tailed deer! 

That's not all! We'll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading to our mystery stops. Join us for a fun day on the river and a few stops along the way!

Maysville…Where Bourbon Began Its Journey and our journey of Maysville begins with Bourbon. The 1845 Old Pogue home and  Distillery begin our jaunt in Maysville. Our insightful tour will delight and enlighten you on the manufacturing of bourbon in Kentucky. After learning the history of how Maysville was the first in Kentucky to produce bourbon, we'll head to the Old Pogue Experience and the Kentucky Gateway Museum in downtown Maysville.

1880's  Settlement

Join us for a day of play as we travel to Patti's for a some fun,  shopping  and dinning. There are 9 on-site Boutiques, a recreated historical log cabin village, beautiful gardens, gazebos, winding streams, miniature golf, remote control boats and a 26 foot tall rock wall, plus free Moonshine sampling! All for you to shop, play and sample while enjoying the beauty of Grand Rivers.

Patti's was voted one of Kentucky's best restaurants and if you've never eaten here, you're in for a treat! You'll enjoy a delicious lunch before some more play time and our return home.

It's Christmas so let's visit Mustard Seed Hill! Millersburg’s Mustard Seed Hill is a spectacular holiday tradition you won’t want to miss! Wander the beautifully decorated 3-acre Christmas light display, highlighted by a magnificent ribbon tree, glowing ribbon arch, dazzling starburst, the fun Christmas sleigh and more! There’s an incredible illuminated walk-through ornament which is a great phot spot! 

A little history...
The property dates to 1852 when William Nunn established his impressive, Greek Revival home, commonly referred to as the Allen House. In 1893 it became the Millersburg Military Institute, MMI, was a military boarding school and remained so for over 113 years. It was sold and restored to it's original beauty. Join us as we stroll through the beautifully decorated Allen House, Moffet Hall and others.
