     June 11, 2023

Prepare to be astonished! The Bible comes to life in a way that will astound and amaze  you at your first glimpse of The Ark!  The full size Ark is built according to the specific dimensions given in the Bible. It's hard to comprehend a boat that spans 510 feet by 85 feet wide and 51 feet high.  This vessel is a replica of the one that kept Noah's family and animals safe during the flood of all floods.

Meet Noah and his family and be stupefied at the magnitude of animals which were brought onto the Ark. Learn how Noah and crew kept the animals safe, how they fed and cared for their family and animals.

It's hard to comprehend the magnitude of the project that Noah took on, as directed by God, until you have experienced The Ark first hand.

Cost per adult: $122 adult                                          Deposit: $50 due at booking.

                            Barn Quilts and Amish Goods
                                   September 13, 2023

Driving the  highways and backroads you'll quickly spot  colossal roadside canvases - one barn quilt after another! You'll also want to be on the look out for the horse-drawn buggies of the Amish Community- all during our tour of Hart County, Kentucky!

Barn quilts pull at our heartstrings as they combine two endearing symbols: barns and quilts. For me, there's nothing like passing a barn and getting a whiff of the scent of tobacco. Bringing to mind fond memories spent in the barn hand-tying tobacco with family members. Or snuggling under that handmade quilt, quilted by your mom or grandmother. No two Barn Quilt blocks are the same, just as traditional quilts vary in size, color and style so do Barn Quilts.  These two treasures combine to make us feel memories of the past and can inspire our futures.

Amish migration often follows patterns of kinship. In 1989 the Amish began settling in Hart County. It is the mostly densely populated Amish community in Kentucky with approximately 200 families living there. On our jaunt though the backroads, you'll have the opportunity to stop at  Detweiler's Country Store, a variety store with foods, dry goods, books, clothing, potted plants and a wide array of amenities, Dutch County Fabrics with notions, fabrics, baby items and quilting supplies.  We'll also stop at Yoders' Produce for some of the best produce you've ever eaten! Another stop will be to   Pleasant View Greenhouse for all your planting needs.
Amble with us along the backroads of Hart County where Barn Quilts abound and Amish goods are both delicious and delightful.

Cost: $75 per person
Includes: Transportation and tour

                  Mustard Seed Hill Christmas

                             December 2, 2023

It's Christmas so let's visit Mustard Seed Hill.  Millersburg’s Mustard Seed Hill is a spectacular holiday tradition you won’t want to miss! Wander the beautifully decorated 3-acre Christmas light display, highlighted by a magnificent ribbon tree, glowing ribbon arch, dazzling starburst, the fun Christmas sleigh and more! There’s an incredible illuminated walk-through ornament which is a great phot spot!

A little history...
The property dates to 1852 when William Nunn established his impressive, Greek Revival home, commonly referred to as the Allen House. In 1893 it became the Millersburg Military Institute, MMI, was a military boarding school and remained so for over 113 years. It was sold and restored to it's original beauty. Join us as we stroll through the beautifully decorated Allen House, Moffet Hall and others.

Cost per person: $89  due at booking.
Includes: Transportation and Tour

                                Christmas in Cincinnati
                                    December 30, 2020
Krohn Conservatory and Coney Island are decked out In all their glory! Join us for a visit to the most beautiful of Conservatories and the amazing light show at Coney Island.  Under a thatched roof, the log stable features a variety of live animals- several sheep (Molly, Polly, Holly and Dolly), a cow and a donkey and life-size, dressed figures positioned to recreate the story of the birth of Jesus. The Crib of the Nativity is one of my favorite places to visit during the holiday season. Moving into a transformed Winter Wonderland, the Conservatory is glowing with twinkle lights and beautiful poinsettias. Minature trains chug through the replicas of Cincinnati landmarks and poinsettias and other flowers. You'll fall in love with the Conservatory and all its finery.

Heading next to one of the region’s biggest synchronized holiday light displays with more than 2 million lights synchronized to various holiday songs. You will have a hard time taking it all in! A night not to be missed.

Cost per person: $85
Includes: Transportation, admittance to Krohn Conservatory and Coney Island’s Nights of Lights
